Thermometers are usualy hand painted, kiln fired on clear glass and plated to a background of opalescent glass. Just about any subject matter (of your choosing) can be hand painted into the central portion of these unique pieces. The movement is fairly accurate and can be synchronized with any existing thermometer or thermostat. Make nice gifts. Run from around $60 to $100.
